Kyla is the most...name sounding.

PLEASEEE don't name your child any of the others...like do you know how much kids will make fun of her...maybe not to her face, well, the brave ones will. Seriously I don't know why you parents think it is okay to do these things to your child.

These arent names meaning ocean or water, they are words. If you aren't convinced, I will give you some reasons:

1. Oceana is the name of a large naval base near where I live.
2. Riviera...this is a coast in France.
3. Kyla is somewhat normal, so it is okay.
4. Nereida...I don't know how to pronounce that, but it just reminds me of the word nerd.
5. Nerina sounds like farina...breakfast mush
6. Nérine...whats with the accent mark? It isnt any better when you try to make it fancy!

You might as well just name your child water...it would have the same effect and people would actually know the meaning behind it.What do you think of these baby names meaning ocean or water?
Oceana is a bit too obvious for me, there are no nice nicknames and it just doesn't sound or look nice to me.

Riviera: for a girl or boy?? Boy=No Girl=Its OK, more of a surname tho really :S

Kyla: Is fine, boring, but OK.

Nereida: SO COOL

Nerina: AGAIN SO COOL!

Riviera is the name of a hotel. It is also similar to Rivera which is a comon last name.

Kyla is lovely, so is Nereida, Nerina, and Nerine. But Oceana seems like the pronuciation should be Oh She Na. It could be pretty.
I LOVE THE NAME KYLA. I THINK IT IS ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL.

I'm not so sure about the other ones, but how about simply just Ocean? :)

But BTW, Kyla means "Narrow", not "Ocean" or "Water"...
I like Nerine %26amp; Kyla. I don't really like the others.

Isla (means island but it's surrounded by water)
Brooke
Marissa/ Maressa (Mar means sea in spanish/mare in Italian)
Oceana and Riviera are a bit too out there for me. It comes off as trying way too hard (IMO). Not too sure about the others, though Nérine seems pretty (if I'm pronouncing it correctly).



Love the name Kyla.
They sound... Odd. And not in a good/unique way, but in a wow thats friggin weird.



Only Kyla sounds nice. Riviera is more of a lat name
Theres also Aquamarine.
Personally i wouldn't name someone that. They sound kind of foreign aswell.
I like Kyla and Nerina the best.
