What types of colleges, meaning name, can i get into with a ACT composite score of 24?

This score is pretty average. The 75th-percentile for 4 year public schools is 24, and the 75th-percentile for 4 year private schools is 25. That means, you did better than 75 percent of people who go to 4 year public universities.

You wouldn't be able to get into an amazing school like Harvard or Stanford, or a pretty selective school like Emory or Vanderbilt on that score alone.

But I bet you could get into a school like _______ State University, or most University of (insert State name here) on this score alone. But remember that your ACT score is not all who you are, there are much more important factors like extracurricular activities, essays, grades, course rigor, and THE INTEREST YOU SHOW IN THEIR UNIVERSITY (that's one people often forget).|||why don't you go on:

collegeboard.com

or

college.sparknotes.com

and search colleges you're interested in.

they should have a section where they show you what the average act scores are for their students.
