Is he just covering up his true feelings for me when he calls me mean names?

the guy that likes me he always calls me a crazy ***** is that his way of showing his affection for me, because he doesn't want anyone else to know that he likes me, so he covers up his feelings for me by calling me mean names?? he teases me in front of his buddy's all the time, but when ever im around all his attention is on me.|||Sounds like a real jerk and even if he is covering it up(which is so wrong) his feeling do you want someone who even calls you those things? My husband of 10yrs. has never ever called me any name and I would not put up with it he did!
